Clowne Rock & Blues Club - Gig Guide:
The Clowne Blues Club is now Clowne Rock & Blues to more reflect the blues based classic rock bands on offer & also because we aren't a club as such, as you don't have to be a member.
Live music at the Clowne Community Centre between Chesterfield & Worksop N.E. Derbyshire every Sunday night from 8.30pm 'till 11:00pm. Doors open from 7:45pm. Just 2 miles from M1 Junction 30.
Sensibly priced drinks, usually with a choice of 3 cask ales.

|6th April||Tom Killner Band(£4 on the door)|
|The Tom Killner band is a hard hitting original Blues, Funk, Soul & Rock band based in Rotherham & was formed in February 2012. It was not long before they were on the blues scene, with one of the first gigs being the British stage at The Great British Blues Festival. The band went from strength to strength playing many venues in the UK. This is no ordinary blues band, this is a band with a wide mix of funk, soul & rock. The band has a unique & defined sound that stands out from the crowd.|

|Absolution are a fantastic live act, bringing energy & enthusiasm to every gig they play. Not only playing their own material flawlessly & with tremendous attack, they also throw in a few classics for good measure, keeping the feel of the original intact while still putting their own unique stamp on everything they play! Blues purists & music lovers everywhere have never been disappointed yet by an Absolution concert! Indeed, many fans have been heard after shows commenting that Absolution are "The best thing I've seen & heard for many years! The band took home two awards at the 2013 WRC Awards - 'Ones To Watch' & 'Best Guitar Solo'.|

|The AVIT Blues Band are becoming firm favourites here at Clowne, so it's good to have them back yet again. They're from the Doncaster area & say their music is from where Blues meets Rock. It's all about live music, playing blues from the soul and having a good time! This year sees them performing at more festivals as their popularity grows.|
