The Clowne Blues Club is now Clowne Rock & Blues to more reflect the blues based classic rock bands on offer & also because we aren't a club as such, as you don't have to be a member.
Live music at the Clowne Community Centre between Chesterfield & Worksop N.E. Derbyshire every Sunday night from 8.30pm 'till 11:00pm. Doors open from 7:45pm. Just 2 miles from M1 Junction 30.
Sensibly priced drinks, usually with a choice of 3 cask ales.

|2nd March||Marv White Blues Band(£4 on the door)|
|The Marv White Blues Band are a young, fresh, energetic blues band from Chesterfield. Originally a covers band, they are currently writing their own somewhat edgy music, pushing blues to the limits. Oozing with style, elegance & a new twist to this genre, the band are not to be missed. Whether you catch this band in a pub, club or a WMC, performing covers or their own stuff, you will not be disappointed.|
|9th March||Electric Experience(£5 on the door)|
|Electric Experience are one the finest power blues trios on the British blues scene today with their progressive rock driven blues with it's 60's influences. The band works extensively throughout the U.K. and Europe. Formed in 1995, the band has fast become established as one of the most dynamic and exciting three piece outfits around. Pete Orr writes all the original material and has enjoyed considerable success with a top ten hit in North America, as well as radio and TV exposure in the U.K. and Europe. Session work with Mike Stock and Jack Bruce add to Pete's extensive live performance experience. "A thundering raw talent" says Pat Marsh of BBC Radio, "Excellent lead guitarist", says Time Out.|

|Over the past decade Derrin has solidified his reputation as a singer, acoustic guitar player & songwriter of very high order. He is one of the busiest artists on the acoustic scene at the moment in many parts of the world, but to think of Derrin as just another troubadour or journeyman would not paint an accurate picture. Derrin has forged a sound comprising of incredible guitar skills, soulful vocals & powerful songs & lyrics which has won him much praise & many fans. As testament to this Derrin is endorsed by Yamaha guitars & also has had the lyrics to his song "Shipwrecked" published in a text book for English literature by Cambridge University Press. Derrin over the years has also featured in sessions on the Bob Harris & Paul Jones shows on BBC radio 2.|

|The Amelia Carter Band is an exciting new band to arrive on the Sheffield music scene. Amelia has been enthralling audiences with her strong passionate vocals, singing & playing with various Sheffield bands for a number of years, but now she has decided that it's time to lead her own band. With an eclectic but stylish mix of musical styles and influences, for the first time Amelia is able to fully explore the range of her voice, from powerful rock, through soft jazz to soulful blues.|
|30th March||Tea(£5 on the door)|
|Tea are a four piece band from Madrid & are one of Spain's top blues/rock outfits featuring twin lead guitars & playing over 200 gigs a year. Their background is from the Free/Humble Pie era & the late Greg Ridley (ex Humble Pie & Spooky Tooth) featured on Tea's last album & played with the band. Tea have toured Spain with the likes of Jethro Tull, Status Quo, Glenn Hughes, Dr Feelgood, Deep Purple & Pat Travers. They have built up a substantial following in the UK over the past few years & have recently finished several support dates with Rainbow.|
