Clowne Rock & Blues Club - Gig Guide:

The Clowne Blues Club is now Clowne Rock & Blues to more reflect the blues based classic rock bands on offer & also because we aren't a club as such, as you don't have to be a member.

Live music at the Clowne Community Centre between Chesterfield & Worksop N.E. Derbyshire every Sunday night from 8:30pm 'till 11:00pm. Doors open from 7:45pm. Just 2 miles from M1 Junction 30.

Sensibly priced drinks, usually with a choice of 3 cask ales.

Doors open from 7:45pm - Bands start at 8:30pm

Maximum Rhythm & Blues from these popular Sheffield rockers. Influenced by the likes of Dr Feelgood, Wilko Johnson, Ian Dury, Alex Harvey & Screaming Lord Sutch.
14th September Marcus Malone(£5 on the door)
"Hailing from Detroit, Rock/Blues guitarist, songwriter & soulful singer Marcus Malone has a vocal range similar to Paul Rodgers & is a heavyweight rock/blues musician whose career has included a stint on UA/Capital records & Motown. He has appeared at the Albert Hall with BB King, opened for Walter Trout, & headlined numerous festivals in the US, UK & Europe. Marcus's music is a mix of deep toned grooves ranging from heavy rock to soulful blues/rock ballads. The Blueflies are a Rocking Power Trio from York who are never too good at blowing their own trumpets. When Miles is not touring the world with smooth jazz super group 'Acoustic Alchemy', he loves to get out and gig with the 'Flies & play the rhythm and blues inspired music they're mad for. They cover a broad swathe of the stuff from Hendrix & Free inspired Blues Rock through Texas Roadhouse to Motown & Funk.
