The Clowne Blues Club is now Clowne Rock & Blues to more reflect the blues based Classic Rock Bands on offer & also because we aren't a club as such, as you don't have to be a member.
Live music at the Clowne Community Centre between Chesterfield & Worksop N.E. Derbyshire every Sunday night from 9:00pm 'till 11:00pm. Doors open from 8:00pm. Just 2 miles from M1 Junction 30.
Sensibly priced drinks, usually with a choice of at least 3 cask ales.

|1st May||John Verity Band£5 on the door|
|John Verity began his music career in the early 1960's playing in various UK bands. By 1970 he was living & touring in the USA supporting artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Mountain, Canned Heat, Savoy Brown, & Janis Joplin. Shortly after his return to England in '71 he was spotted by Rod Argent who was looking for a new lead vocalist for his band following the departure of Russ Ballard. John eventually joined Argent late in 1973 until they disbanded in late '76. The next few years were spent in recording studios throughout the world, producing, playing guitar or doing backup vocals with various acts including Motorhead, Tank, Ringo Starr, Russ Ballard, Colin Blunstone, Brian Connolly, John Parr, BowWowWow & The Searchers amongst many others. Since then JV has collaborated with numerous artists including Mike Rutherford, Keith Emerson, Greg Lake & The Zombies.|

|The Tom Killner band is a hard hitting original Blues, Funk, Soul & Rock band based in Rotherham & was formed in February 2012. It was not long before they were on the blues scene, with one of the first gigs being the British stage at The Great British Blues Festival. The band went from strength to strength playing many venues in the UK. This is no ordinary blues band, this is a band with a wide mix of funk, soul & rock. The band has a unique & defined sound that stands out from the crowd.|

|The Amelia Carter Band is an exciting new band to arrive on the Sheffield music scene. Amelia has been enthralling audiences with her strong passionate vocals, singing & playing with various Sheffield bands for a number of years, but now she has decided that it's time to lead her own band. With an eclectic but stylish mix of musical styles and influences, for the first time Amelia is able to fully explore the range of her voice, from powerful rock, through soft jazz to soulful blues.|

|Hailing from York in the UK the Blueflies are a power-trio of epic proportions featuring Miles Gilderdale on guitar & vocals, Gavin Ewing on bass & Paul Stipetic on drums. Playing music inspired by rhythm & blues, classic rock & funk they have been pounding the circuit for nearly 25 years. In this time they have also toured Germany, Austria & Switzerland & released 3 studio albums of their original material as well as a live album recorded at the Franz club in Berlin.|
