|Rob 'Cry Baby' Wilkinson rounded up The Hoochie Coochie Boys in the summer of 2008 to form a six-piece dance floor Rhythm & Blues band. The band play original numbers, together with Classic Rhythm & Blues/Soul. So why ‘Cry Baby & The Hoochie Coochie Boys?' Starting with The Hoochie Coochie Boys, the band has been heavily influenced by the Chicago Blues sound as well as a British influence from Nine Below Zero & Dr. Feelgood. Hoochie Coochie Boys is also a nod to the great Muddy Waters. Rob Wilkinson underpins the band with harmonica playing & a wailing tone, hence the Cry Baby. The band has undergone a couple of line-up changes in the past few years but has settled now with a 5 piece line-up that will deliver an evening of rocking rhythm & blues.|
