The Clowne Blues Club is now Clowne Rock & Blues to more reflect the blues based Classic Rock Bands on offer & also because we aren't a club as such, as you don't have to be a member.
Live music at the Clowne Community Centre between Chesterfield & Worksop N.E. Derbyshire every Sunday night from 9:00pm 'till 11:00pm. Doors open from 8:00pm. Just 2 miles from M1 Junction 30.
Sensibly priced drinks, usually with a choice of at least 3 cask ales.

|4th January||Vyndictive£4 on the door|
|Vyndictive are an excellent new local band formed by members of various other local bands. They all have a long & varied musical careers & play a variety of well known songs - vintage soft rock and blues.|
|11th January||Vamp£4 on the door|
|Vamp play a variety of Classic rock music from the likes of Free, Led Zeppelin, The Faces & more. They are a classic rock band & though based in South Yorkshire they play all over the north of England. The lineup has been re-Vamped a few times over the years. Steve and Ian are the only remaining members from the original lineup. After a few bass players, Jayne joined the band in 2009 & after parting ways with their former drummer, Ian (Jock) joined the band also in 2009.|

|Swear Box feature a floating line-up of excellent musicians who all play with other well known artists. This time we have, on lead vocals & mischief, Andy Barber of Stumble & on lead guitar & vocals we have the brilliant 'JJ'. Keyboards, harmonica & vocals are supplied by the bands secret weapon, Eaglesque's Wayne Miles. On bass & vocals is the renowned Jamie Mallender, currently also playing bass for Paddy Maguire & John Verity of Argent fame. Bringing up the rear on drums is the much sought after Simon Freeston of The Kahunas & Mag7. Expect a mix of popular classic rock, bluesy rock & rocky blues, songs by the likes of Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Santana, Cream, Golden Earring, ZZ Top, Queen, Foreigner, Deep Purple & many more.|

|The AVIT Blues Band are becoming firm favourites here at Clowne, so it's good to have them back yet again. They're from the Doncaster area & say their music is from where Blues meets Rock. It's all about live music, playing blues from the soul and having a good time! This year sees them performing at more festivals as their popularity grows.|
